You can start improving yourself without having a job. Focus on things that can help you feel better and become more employable, such as learning a useful skill, improving your resume, practicing interviews, exercising, and keeping a simple daily routine.
Start small. Spend an hour each day learning something related to the type of job you want. Apply to a few suitable jobs instead of sending random applications all day. You can also use this time to build a small project, take a free course, or improve your communication skills.
Being unemployed does not mean you are standing still. Use the time to build skills and prepare for your next opportunity.
