When Could You Ever 'Just Submit an Application'?

You can just submit an application when you meet most of the basic requirements and the job looks like a reasonable fit. You do not need to match every single point in the job post.

For example, if you have the right education, some useful skills, and can do most of the work, applying is usually worth it. Employers often list their ideal candidate, not the only person they will consider.

I would not spend hours trying to make a perfect application for every job. A clear resume, a short cover letter when needed, and a few minutes checking the company and role are often enough.

Sometimes the best move is simply to apply and see what happens. You can always learn more if they contact you.
