Bad habits usually come back because they give you something right now, even if they cause problems later.
Sometimes it isn't about being lazy. You may be tired, bored, stressed, or simply following an old routine without thinking.
Instead of only trying to remove the habit, notice what happens right before it. That moment is often more important than the habit itself.
Make the bad habit a little harder and the better choice a little easier. You don't need to fix everything at once. Just interrupt the pattern once, then do it again tomorrow.
