If I had $25,000 in savings, I wouldn't put it all into one investment. I'd keep around $8,000 in a safe place for emergencies, put $10,000 into low-risk options like savings or government bonds, and invest the remaining $7,000 in something with higher growth potential, such as index funds.
My risk level would be moderate, around 5 out of 10.
One thing people often overlook is spending a little money to improve their earning skills. A course, useful tool, or small side business might give better long-term returns than an investment alone.
I'd rather grow the money slowly and sleep well than risk losing most of it chasing quick profits.
